Earthroot: a revolution blooming will be an on screen adaptation and evolution of the play Where Earth Meets the Sky. It is a three season serial anthology being written for the Black and Brown diaspora scrolling though Netflix desperately searching for a reflection that might soothe the pain of a warring empire on their doorstep.

49 generations of resistance. Spiritual technologies. Black and Brown bodies healing. A re-indigenized future. This is the story of Earthroot: A revolution blooming....

The development of this script is being led by Edyka Chilomé and Vanessa Mercado - Taylor with support by The Black, Indigenous, People of Color Sci Fi Lab hosted by the L.A. based organization Justice for Our Sister.
